Job Description:
A company is looking for acquisitions editors to expand their
health sciences publishing division.
Key Responsibilities
Acquire and develop digital content for higher education and
professional markets
Manage all phases of list development and author relationships
Drive content development, including peer reviewing and negotiating
publishing agreements
Required Qualifications
Deep experience in kinesiology, athletic training, respiratory
therapy, or related health sciences
Proven track record of developing profitable lists and course
programs
Strong editorial skills with a focus on digital content
Experience in sales and relationship-building within the publishing
industry
Technologically savvy with a willingness to embrace new tools and
changes
