Job Description:
A company is looking for a part-time, remote Medical Director in
Behavioral Health, licensed to reside in California.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the interdisciplinary
Medical Management team
Develop and implement a Utilization Management program to ensure
high-quality patient care
Participate in quality improvement activities and maintain
compliance with accreditation standards
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or
equivalent international degree
Successful completion of residency in an ACGME-approved program
Minimum of three years of direct patient care experience at
multiple levels of care
Current and valid unrestricted medical license in California
Experience in cost-benefit analysis and quality assurance processes
is preferred
