Job DescriptionMinyoli, a family-friendly neighborhood restaurant in Chicago, is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. We offer a welcoming work environment that values open communication, mutual respect, and diversity.This is a 40-hour per week position with weekend availability required. Responsibilities include learning and mastering our small, focused menu, introducing Taiwanese cuisine to our guests, and being aware of food allergies and restrictions.Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our Chef and kitchen crew to prepare and serve savory and dessert menu items.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, cooking equipment, and food storage area.
• Receive and organize food deliveries.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste, compost, and recycling.
• Stand for at least 8 hours per shift.
• Follow and maintain safety protocols.Requirements:
  • Look neat and clean for food service.
  • Work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Strong time management skills and a sense of urgency when approaching kitchen tasks.
  • Passion for food and beverage, strong work ethic, and dedication.
  • Able to take constructive criticism, learn quickly, and constantly improve.Physical Demands:The physical demands of this position include walking up and down stairs, seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.This job description is intended to describe the general level of work being performed and is not all-inclusive.Benefits:Hourly pay of $18/hour, health insurance, and dental insurance for full-time employees.
