Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Server Assistant to join our team at The Langham Chicago. This role will provide exceptional service assistance to our servers while delivering top-notch products and service to our guests.Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized service station, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked and accessible to servers.
• Provide impeccable service to guests, including polishing and inspecting all restaurant service ware, linen, china, and condiments to meet luxury standards.
• Run food to tables, clearly explaining the composition of each dish to guests and providing excellent communication throughout the dining experience.
• Collaborate with other colleagues, including servers, porters, bartenders, and kitchen staff, to ensure seamless service.
• Provide guests with knowledge of the hotel, facilities, and local city attractions to enhance their stay.
• Adhere to all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations, ensuring the safe and responsible service of alcoholic beverages.Requirements:
  • High School diploma preferred
  • 2 years of previous restaurant bussing experience required
  • IL Sanitation License, TIPS, and BASSET licenses required
  • CPR Certification and/or First Aid Training preferred
  • Luxury hotel experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Point of Sales system preferred
