Your Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate, dedicated Senior Software Engineer who is excited about working with the latest technologies and building innovative products. In this role, you will primarily work with Ruby on Rails for back-end development, and React for front-end development, demonstrating an exceptional level of expertise. Your strong understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL will also be instrumental to our team.

  Your Responsibilities
  
  • 
    
  • Architect, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails and React code.
    
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
    
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design and prototype new features.
    
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
    
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain a high-quality code culture.
    
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.

    Qualifications
    
    • 
      
    • MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
      
    • Proven work experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
      
    • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
      
    • Proficient in Ruby on Rails and experience with React and frontend development.
      
    • Experience with PostgreSQL and a deep understanding of relational databases.
      
    • Experience with creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
      
    • Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
      
    • Able to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
      
    • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
      
    • Familiarity with continuous integration.
