Role: We have a need of a MS Office Consultant for a 4+ month opportunity located in downtown Chicago IL. The ideal candidate will have OCT (Office Customization Tool) and will also have tools like Office Migration Planning Manager (OMPM) or OfficeConverter 2010. We need someone to do documentation remediation. Candidates must have experience using the Converter Technology Tool suite: Discoverit, OfficeConverter, Click2Fix, Linklab Below is the full scope of this role:Office Document Remediation ServicesThe purpose of this activity is to assist users with updating Office documents (ex: Word, Excel, Access,PowerPoint) that exhibit issues when processed with a new version of Office (ex: Office 2010). Upon receiving anOffice document that does not function correctly in Office 2010,

- Provide the customer with an estimate in hours and cost to remediate the impact document The customer will:

- Review the document, for a maximum of one hour, and either

- Remediate the Office document and return to the customer, using Converter Technologies toolsets for automated repair and/or manual efforts as required.

- Provide the customer an estimated remediation effort in hours, duration, and cost

- Task 2 - Remediate Office Documents Upon receiving approval from the Project Manager (or their designate) for each Office document identified in the execution of Task 1, Customer will: (1) Work with the document owner to remediate the Office document, consisting of: (a) Formatting issues (b) Macro incompatibility and/or functionality (c) Document interoperability issues

- Task 3 - Manage the Converter Technology’s Office Converter Toolsets (OCT) The purpose of this activity is to assist users with updating Office documents that exhibit issues related to the newer version of Office (2010) by leveraging use of Converter Technology’s suite of tools (Discoverit, OfficeConverter, Click2Fix, Linklab).

- Customer will: (1) Facilitate the Office Document Remediation Services using Click2Fix portal (2) Package and make available for deployment to Windows 7 users the Linklab software or include in the Windows 7 build

Qualifications:

Must pass a drug and criminal background check before starting

4 Yrs experience working in the IT Field

-

Solid Office Migration Planning Manager (OMPM) or OfficeConverter 2010.

Some background required with Converter Technology Tool suite: Discoverit, OfficeConverter, Click2Fix, Linklab

Excellent communication and customer service skills required
