Quality Assurance Technician - 3rd shift - Direct Hire--- Are you passionate about ensuring product excellence and eager to be a key player in maintaining top-notch quality standards? We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be responsible for verifying the quality of our products and collaborating with our Quality Assurance Manager on any concerns. Job Duties:--- Checks quality parameters of the products according to the specification. Performs line checks to make sure the correct product is being produced with the correct specifications including metering sheets to measure the feet of product in tubes.--- Perform Quality checks of the printed material by comparing the sample material to the newly printed casing. Conducts testing to ensure perforated holes are according to customer specifications and tube checks to detect holes in shirred casings using a water or Insty-Shir system. Conduct ATP swabbing at the beginning of each shift or after Maintenance repairs. Handle all RTAs (Returned goods) and customer complaints as required while following the process in coordination with several departments and performing final disposition. Schedule: 3rd shift Monday thru Friday 11:00 pm -7:00 am (OT as needed, including weekends) Pay: starting at $22.00 plus 5% premium Requirements:--- Knowledge of HACCP and GMP to help educate and report violations. Ability to learn, interpret and apply Quality Assurance procedures.--- Basic computer entry skills using Microsoft Word and Excel. Perform math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and averaging. Able to read rulers and gauges.--- Strong troubleshooting skills.
